While watching the game, we’ve all sat through online dating commercials. Most people agree that online dating seems like the ultimate scam. This is why we were SO excited to celebrate Ellen and Allen’s wedding – they are one of Match.com’s success stories!
These two proved that taking the chance on dating websites is worth it. They are so perfect for each other! While they both live in Knoxville, Tennessee, the wedding was held right outside of Charlottesville, Virginia which was a central location for both their families. In the heart of equestrian and fox hunting country, Castle Hill Cider Grove and Barn turned out to be the perfect venue for Ellen’s rustic chic design scheme. There wasn’t a cloud in the October sky, and the rolling hills and mountains proved a beautiful backdrop for the day. The couple began their official celebration by exchanging letters and gifts, followed by a joy filled first glance. Then it was time to be wed! The couple said their vows under towering trees with all their closest friends and family present.
The reception was held indoors in the Barn at Castle Hill Cider. With tons of string lights, beautiful floral arrangements, and burlap table runners, the place was a rustic dream! Instead of a wedding cake, Allen and Ellen followed the growing trend of having cupcakes instead. There were two types of cupcakes: the bride’s favorite and the grooms favorite. Then came the dancing- and man, that was a blast! The night ended with a sparkler send off, and happy couple left their Charlottesville wedding together on to Saint Lucia and the rest of their lives.
