Weddings are the celebration of a couple joining together. This Charleston Wedding Photographer knows having all of your family and friends come together is what turns an event into a real celebration! When Melissa and Beau think of their wedding day, they cherish the fact that all of their family and friends could all be there together in celebration of their big day!
However, it wasn’t just Melissa, Beau, and all of their loved one’s coming together that day, but also Melissa and Beau bringing their children together to make their two separate families, one. They all became a sweet family of four!
Another thing that Bride Melissa cherished and recommends to other brides is, “Don’t stress the small stuff.” Some brides may get overwhelmed on their wedding day but Melissa said keeping that little phrase in mind helped her relax and truly enjoy their wedding. The Bride and Groom also chose to help minimize stress by doing a little “one-stop shopping” and used Duvall as their caterer, bar services, and event planners.
All that was left to do was choose the beautiful event space, and selected Pepper Plantation; they had to have the finest bouquets, which were provided by Charleston Flower Market; the couple had to select event lighting and choose well with the beautifully done lighting by Charleston Up Lighting; and, of course, they needed the best Charleston Wedding Photographer 😉 (And we’re honored and delighted that they love the Valerie & Co. Photographers team and our work!)
Pepper Plantation is located in Awendaw, SC, just outside the busy and bustling historic city of Charleston. The plantation is a classic but rustic “barn-inspired pavilion with deep Lowcountry-style porches, exposed wooden beams, massive indoor/outdoor fireplaces”, a cozy fire-pit on the grounds, and a gazebo at the end of the dock on the water; all of these stunning and unique features made for the perfect location for Melissa and Beau’s November Wedding.
The Bride and Groom looked perfect and you can tell by the way that they look at each other that they feel that they’re with the perfect person 🙂
That day, everything seamlessly came together for Melissa and Beau’s rustic yet exquisite wedding. The end of the night was closed with a vintage white Rolls Royce “get-away” ride on to their next journey together.
